May 9 cases
RAWALPINDI: Copies of challans have been distributed among the accused in May 9 related 13 cases and the court has fixed date for their indictment. Hearing of 13 cases related to May 9 incident was held in Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) led by judge Amjid Ali Shah here Saturday. Defence counsels, prosecutors and accused appeared during the hearing. Stringent security measures were taken in the court on this occasion while heavy contingent of police was also deployed. Attendance of PTI founder Imran Khan was marked on jail robkar while attendance of former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi was also marked. Faisal Malik counsel for Imran Khan and Sheikh Rashid reached the court. The court distributed copies of the cases among the accused who were present. The court adjourned hearing of 13 cases related to May 9 incident till April 25. The accused will be indicted in these 13 cases on next hearing. Staff report
