The passing of Abid Pervez, elder brother of Pakistan Rope Skipping Federation Vice President Muhammad Salim and former Deputy Director of Land, has drawn an outpouring of condolences from the nation’s political, social, and sporting elite.
Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal led tributes alongside PPP MPA Asif Musa,Member Provincial Assembly PS 113 Faheem Patni,Baldia Town Chairman Abdul Karim Askani, and sports luminaries including Sindh Olympic Association Secretary Ahmed Ali Rajput and Pakistan Kho Kho Federation President Dr. Arif Hafeez.
Remembered as the founder of The Graceful Grammar Higher Secondary School, Pervez’s legacy was honored by representatives from Secretary Pakistan sepaktakraw Federation Noushad Ahmed ,dodgeball Sakhawat Ali, President student Olympic associations Maqbool Arain, Arif Waheed, Shariq Ahmed and Shahroz Alvi.Collective prayers were offered for the departed soul’s elevated status and the family’s fortitude, with attendees recalling his contributions to education and sports development.
The unified response underscores Pervez’s far-reaching impact across multiple sectors, with Minister Kamal noting, “His life’s work bridged communities a loss felt nationwide.” Mourners continue to gather at the family residence as funeral arrangements proceed.
