It is an irrefutable fact that women comprise half the sky and leave revolutionary footprints not only in the course of history but also in the current global trends. From social landscapes to global platforms, women’s strength is inevitable. Without their participation, the world is just a hollow vessel. They are considered a pillar of governance, whereas social, political, economic, environmental, and global contributions are concerned.
At the outset, the strong women as mothers nurture their children’s future personalities with proper moral, ethical, and mental nourishment from career planning to personal development. Today’s personalities who contributed to each sphere of prosperity are the outcome of their mothers’ guidance. In the current scenario of the world, children are an asset, and they will be leading nations as policy makers, economists, educationists, and bureaucrats.
In the digital landscape, women as digital influencers predict the realistic picture of societal catastrophes. They try to highlight minor and major issues of society through human rights activists and feminists to make politicians and authoritarian ones responsible for resolving them. Shareem Obaid Chinnoy, the Pakistani Canadian journalist, filmmaker, and social activist, made potent documentaries, where ‘A Girl in the River and Saving Face’ are under the umbrella of her documentaries.
The powerful women athletes put soft images throughout the globe by winning the manifold sports and competitions. Recently, Elaine Thompson got the Laureus World Sports Awards for Sportswoman of the year.
Women, as electorates, invigorate democratic tenets through steadfast participation in the electoral process, and as stewards of governance, they cultivate the nation’s foundation with tranquillity, security, and progressive development. Their deliberations within legislative and executive echelons irrevocably determine the destinies of states. Under the sagacious aegis of Queen Elizabeth, the United Kingdom attained its apogee of prosperity, propelled by her resolute and efficacious policies
Additionally, Women are revolutionizing the defence and security sectors with a better management system of security forces, where Punita Arora’s potent services in the Indian Army are the case in point.
Women as high achievers in their educational background manifest their strength, hard work, and intellectual mindset. It seems pertinent here to cite the efforts of Madam Farhana Wazeer who became the Gold Medallist in her MSc. Physics from Ghazi Khan Dera Ghazi Khan University.
Moreover, female entrepreneurs are hitting the road to prosperity and development by creating an empire of startups and businesses. Diane V. Furstenberg, the renowned Belgian fashion designer, created a multi-million-dollar business. In the UK alone, nearly one million companies are female-led, with women constituting 37% of all self-employed workers. Female entrepreneurs have established over 150,000 new companies in 2022, more than double the number in 2018, demonstrating their growing economic and social impact.
Cultivated female researchers innovate modern technologies and space exploration. They are giving a lesson in hard work and success. Dr. Mae Jemison, a trailblazing American Engineer, physician, and former NASA astronaut, made history by becoming the first African American woman to travel in space.
Finally, female tourists, IT specialists, and e-commerce experts are today’s witnesses that they are not frail but a pillar of powerful weapons who are financially independent.
Some catastrophes exist in the path of women’s progress as making them real assets. Patriarchal culture and orthodox mindset create a myriad of misconceptions regarding women in tribal and feudal societies, which should be eradicated through generating awareness through media and possibly seminars in those societies to empower women, empower nations.
Widespread institutional feminism hits opportunities of women hard. It should be resolved under the legislative framework to provide equal justice to all women in all zones.
By and large, women, the creatures of the universe, are the real power of the world. Without the wheel of women, the world’s carriage is just a blind and darkest corner. Being the CEO of Qualitative CSS-PMS Academy (QCA), I suggest that the government, civil society, and global organizations utilize women’s resources in social sectors, political decision making, higher institutional jobs, and economic governance from the developing world to make nations like Pakistan and Afghanistan prosperous.
