GUJRANWALA: As many as five persons have been gunned down due to old enmity in Gujranwala. Old enmity claimed five lives in the area of Artali Virkan Tutlay wali police station when the accused Imran Shero opened firing indiscriminately killing five persons and injuring one person. Those who were killed are Usman Virk, 28, Waqas 28, Imran Ashiq 40, Umar 18 and Afzal. The injured man has been identified as gun man Suleman who was shifted to hospital in critical condition. According to police gum man of Usman Virk and close friend are also among the victims. On information heavy contingent of police rushed to the scene and bodies and injured were shifted to nearby hospital. Taking notice of the incident IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar has sought report from RPO Gujranwala immediately besides ordering CPO Gujranwala to arrest the accused immediately. CPO Gujranwala said police teams have be established to arrest the accused persons who will soon be arrested.
