PESHAWAR: The National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Peshawar Campus, organized a thought-provoking seminar titled “Pak-India Conflict 2025: Lessons Learnt & Challenges Ahead.” The event explored the strategic, political, and economic dimensions of the recent conflict, drawing lessons from Pakistan’s war history. Students and faculty from NUML and the University of Peshawar attended the session, which featured distinguished speakers including academics, journalists, and defense analysts. Professor Dr. Qibla Ayaz, Member of the Federal Shariat Court, was the chief guest. Speakers emphasized national resilience, media narratives, regional dynamics, and the economic cost of war. Dr. Abdul Rehman reflected on Iqbal’s vision of the Shaheen, while Dr. Qadir Baloch described the conflict as redemption from 1971. Prof. Soherwordi addressed military technology gaps, and journalist Zahir Shah Shirazi highlighted the role of media in modern warfare. Economic expert Prof. Zilakat Khan stressed regional trade as a path to stability. In his concluding remarks, Dr. Qibla Ayaz drew spiritual parallels from Surah Al-Fil, calling the conflict a moment of national healing.
