In a praiseworthy step for social responsibility and ecological sustainability, China Power Hub Generation Company (CPHGC) has inaugurated a tree-planting campaign at its funded school in Hub Gaddani. This is a critical step toward promoting environmental sustainability as well as assisting community development. The school is operated by The Citizens Foundation (TCF) and offers free, quality education to children from underprivileged backgrounds. It serves as a beacon of hope for the local community.
The tree-planting event is part of CPHGC’s CSR initiatives and involved the planting of hundreds of trees at the school. This initiative was undertaken to enhance the school’s environment and to raise students’ awareness about ecological issues. While participating in the event, students attended a presentation that outlined the critical role of trees in fighting climate change, improving air quality, and enriching the ecosystem.
