ISLAMABAD
A business leader and former president of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) stated on Sunday that during the recent tensions between Pakistan and India, China reaffirmed its strong support for Pakistan, proving again that it’s the most trusted friend of Pakistan.
He said that this alliance underscores the robust nature of partnership, providing a sense of security and reassurance amid the prevailing tense situation. Shahid Rasheed Butt stated in a press release issued today that China, in its role as a brotherly nation, has not only provided political, diplomatic, and military support but has also earned the heartfelt gratitude of the entire Pakistani nation for its unwavering support.
He said that India’s aggressive actions, including attacks on Pakistan, provocative war exercises, and aggressive rhetoric, have escalated tensions and pose a grave threat to peace. At this critical juncture, China’s swift and straightforward support for Pakistan’s sovereignty, security, and defense has been a beacon of hope.
He noted that India staged a false-flag operation to divert global attention from Israeli atrocities, but the ploy backfired. This adventure not only led to India’s diplomatic isolation but also raised serious questions about the political future of the BJP and Narendra Modi.
India’s long-held dream of regional dominance is now under threat, thanks to the unbreakable alliance between China and Pakistan. Strategic projects like CPEC are a testament to this alliance’s potential to ensure regional development and prosperity, despite India’s continuous attempts to sabotage them, he observed.
The international community must take a stand against India’s war-mongering and actively contribute to establishing lasting peace in South Asia.
While Pakistan is committed to peace, it is prepared to deliver a crushing defeat to any enemy that dares to impose war, a defeat that will be remembered in history, he underlines.
He added that in such sensitive times, those who spread rumors and harm national unity are committing an act of treason. Swift and stern action should be taken against them so the nation can face all challenges with unity.
Mr. Butt further stressed the need for strong internal cohesion, urging political parties, media, and civil society to rise above petty differences. A united national front is vital to face external threats and ensure that Pakistan remains strong, resilient, and sovereign in the face of growing challenges.
