Targeted search operations intensified in Peshawar’s Faqirabad Division

PESHAWAR: In line with the special directives of senior officials, police have intensified targeted search and strike operations across the Faqirabad Division to maintain law and order in the district. Acting on the instructions of SP Faqirabad Division Muhammad Arshad Khan and under the supervision of DSP Faqirabad Circle Umar Afridi, a major operation was carried out by SHO Pahari Pura Police Station Ahmedullah Khan along with local police, women personnel, and other supporting units. The operation focused on several areas, including Faisal Colony, Haider Shah Town, Yousafabad, Gulabad, Gharibabad, Medina Colony, and Haji Camp Adda. The police apprehended several suspects involved in criminal activities, including liquor vendors, individuals illegally residing in the area, and suspects involved in arms possession and other crimes. During the raid, authorities recovered 300 liters of country-made liquor, four rifles, one Kalashnikov, eight pistols, and 220 grams of crystal methamphetamine (commonly known as ice). Police confirmed that cases have been registered against all the arrested individuals, and investigations are currently ongoing from multiple angles to determine the extent of their criminal involvement.
