IHC stops removing cart vendors forcibly from Daman-e-Koh

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered for not forcibly removing cart vendors from Daman-e-Koh Islamabad. Justice Inam Amin Minhas took up for hearing case against removing cart vendors forcibly from Daman-e-Koh Tuesday. Barrister Omar Ijaz Gillani appeared on behalf of cart vendors. The court stopped removing cart vendors forcibly from Daman—e-Koh. The counsel took the plea CDA removed cart vendors forcibly too after closure of private restaurant. The court decision was to the extent of private restaurant located on Margalla Hills. The counsel told the court decision of former chief justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa about cart vendors is there. The court remarked CDA should refrain from creating any hindrance for licensed cart vendors. The court adjourned the hearing of the case till June 30.
