Harassment case: Sindh Ombudsman orders to remove CEO K-Electric from post

Punishment of removal from removal from his post and imposition of fine of Rs 25 lac has been awarded to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) K-Electric Moonis Alvi.
Sindh Ombudsman has announced punishment to CEO K Electric Moonis Alvi.
Provincial Ombudsman has ordered to remove CEO K-Electric from his post besides slapping fine to the tune of Rs 25 -lac on him.
According to Sindh Ombudsman, allegation has been proved against CEO K-Electric.
One Mehreen Zohra had lodged complaint against CEO K-Electric.
According to provincial Mohtasib, CEO K-Electric harassed complainant Mehreen Zohra and inflicted mental torture on him. If Moonis Elahi does not pay penalty then his moveable and immovable property be confiscated. If he does not pay fine then his national identity card and passport be blocked as well.
It is pertinent to mention here former chief marketing officer Mehreen Zohra had lodged complaint
According to applicant the complainant was appointed by K-Electric for consultancy in 2019.
Justice (Retd) Shah Nawaz Tariq heard the petition filed by Mehreen Zohra.
