WWF organizes “Marka-e-Haq” seminar, Independence Day celebrations, and solidarity walk with Pakistan Armed Forces

The purpose of the seminar was to send a strong message to Pakistan’s Armed Forces that the Workers Welfare Fund and industrial workers stand shoulder to shoulder with them like a solid wall. Key points from the speech of Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development, Chaudhry Salik Hussain:
• The people of Pakistan will never compromise on national sovereignty.
• The nation will continue its unconditional support to the Armed Forces in defense of the motherland.
• Ma’arka-e-Haq is a new chapter in the long story that began in 1947 and is still being written today. It is an intellectual reminder that Pakistan’s survival and honor are not merely about geographical borders but about the continuity of a living ideology.
• Chaudhry Salik Hussain said that a few months ago, Pakistan once again made history when our Armed Forces, under the farsighted and strategic leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, thwarted Indian aggression. This battle was not just a military victory but the triumph of the very ideology on which Pakistan was founded.
• The Federal Minister also praised the Workers Welfare Fund for providing quality education, better healthcare, and development opportunities for the working class.
Welcome Address by WWF Secretary, Zulfiqar Ahmad:
At the beginning of the ceremony, WWF Secretary Zulfiqar Ahmad said that the great victory in the Marka-e-Haq reminds us that Pakistan was achieved through countless sacrifices and a long struggle. Today, it is our duty to set this nation on the path of economic, educational, and social development. The unmatched courage and bravery of the Armed Forces in defending the beloved homeland is unparalleled.
He paid tribute to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff, and Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain on this great victory. He emphasized that under the leadership and guidance of Chaudhry Salik Hussain, WWF will continue its mission for the welfare of industrial workers and add new chapters to its journey.
He said WWF is not just an institution but a national mission to transform the lives of industrial workers and their families. Our goal is that no Industrial worker’s child is deprived of education, no laborer’s family is left without healthcare, and every hardworking individual lives a dignified and prosperous life.
The Secretary stressed: “The day and night hard work of industrial workers is the true guarantee of Pakistan’s progress.”

• Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain distributed awards and shields among students.
• Federal Secretary Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry, along with distinguished national and international dignitaries, attended.
• Delegates from the International Labour Organization (ILO) participated.
• Senior officials of Pakistan Labour Federation were also present.
Notable Services by Workers Welfare Fund (WWF)
• Construction of more than 83,462 houses and flats.
• Scholarships awarded to 1,647 doctors and engineers.
• 211,622 industrial workers’ daughters received marriage grants.
• 330,936 students benefited from scholarships.
• 30,739 widows of deceased industrial workers received death grants.
• 85 persons sponsored annually to perform Hajj.
These initiatives demonstrate that the Workers Welfare Fund is firmly committed to providing dignity, facilities, and development opportunities to the Industrial Workers.
Workers Backbone of National Progress
Participants reaffirmed that the labor class is the true backbone of Pakistan’s development. Their prosperity is, in fact, the guarantee of Pakistan’s strength. WWF continues to move forward with this vision to provide industrial workers and their families with a bright and dignified future.
