Islamabad: A high-level meeting was held at the Central Police Office Islamabad under the chairmanship of Inspector General National Highways & Motorway Police, B.A. Nasir to review the situation in flood-affected areas adjacent to the National Highways and Motorways. Regional and Zonal Commanders, along with relevant officers, attended the meeting. During the meeting, the IG Motorway Police directed that strict monitoring of flood-affected areas near National Highways and Motorways be ensured. Close coordination should be maintained with relevant departments. Uninterrupted flow of traffic on National Highways and Motorways must be ensured so that relief activities are not hindered. Furthermore, the IG Motorway stated, In this time of trial, helping the flood victims is our national, moral, and professional duty.
