Sunni Ittehad Council

National Assembly (NA) Secretariat has rejected and returned resignations of two members of assembly of Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) including Faisal Amin Gandapur and Aneeqa Mehdi on technical basis. \ As per sources the two members had filed only Photostat copies of their resignations. The secretariat has issued directives to them to file original signed resignations
Assembly sources have said resignation of any Member of National Assembly (MNA) has not been accepted from parliamentary committees so far.
20 members of different standing committees have filed resignations uptill now . However final decision in regard to their resignations is under consideration.
