SC rejects appeal plea of convict in murder case of father in law, mother in law, upholds LHC decision

Supreme Court (SC) while rejecting appeal plea of one Akram against his conviction in murder case of his father in law and mother in law has upheld Lahore High Court (LHC) decision of life sentence .
Justice Hashim Kakar remarked he killed two men and he says he had got enraged. If plaintiff speaks truth then no accused will be acquitted in criminal cases.
He gave these remarks while presiding over SC bench during hearing of the case Tuesday.
Justice Hashim Kakar remarked if there was altercation between husband and wife then why he killed father in law and mother in law. Two persons were murdered in broad day light.
Justice Ali Baqir Najfi remarked wife had gone to her parents home after becoming disgruntled .
Prince Reehan counsel for accused told the court his client had gone to in-laws to pacify his wife. Justice Hashim Kakar remarked wakeel sahb you seem to be prince of without state.
Justice Baqir Ali Najfi questioned if he had gone to pacify wife then why he had taken pistol with him.
Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim remarked the plaintiff too lie in the process of registration of FIR. If plaintiff speaks the truth then no accused will be acquitted in criminal cases.
It is pertinent to mention here the trial court had awarded death punishment to the guilty Akram in murder case of his father in law and mother in law. Lahore High Court had commuted death sentence to life imprisonment.
