Qaisar Iqbal head clerk of C&W DASSU Kohistan has filed application in Accountability Court (AC) for plea bargain in Kohistan Mega Scandal case. According to NAB sources the accused presented record of bank accounts and assets worth billion of rupees in the court.
Sources said the accused is suffering from cancer, heart and lungs diseases and is under treatment in Abbottabad Medical Complex at present.
As per media reports the accused has requested to accept plea bargain due to chronic diseases.
According to NAB sources Qaisar Iqbal has assured to pay all payable amount.
The accused is holding bank accounts and assets valuing over Rs 10 billion.
The accused has requested for complete scrutiny of his assets and bank accounts.
The sources have further said the plea bargain of Qaisar Iqbal is likely to be approved within one or two days.
