absconding since 16 months

Renowned social media activist Falak Javed has been arrested. As per sources arrest has been made on identification of intelligence agencies. Falak Javed was absconding since 16 months.
According to sources Falak Javed is charged with launching derogatory and provocative campaign against state institutions on social media. Cases are registered against her under different clauses of electronic crime act including maligning state institutions, defiance of cyber laws and hate material.
Confirmation about arrest of Falak Javed has been made in official social media account of her party.
She was given in the custody of respective investigation agency following her arrest. She is being further investigated therein.
Sources said she was member of an organized online network which was active against state narrative.
According to authorities, the process for searching other persons affiliated with this network has been geared up following arrest of Falak Javed.
