First meeting of KP cabinet called on Nov 14

Meeting of provincial cabinet of KP has been summoned under Chief Minister (CM) Sohail Afridi and its agenda has been issued.
According to media reports KP cabinet meeting has been called on November 14. This will be the first formal meeting of KP cabinet under KP CM Sohail Afridi following the assumption of his office.
According to official sources 10 ministers, one special assistant and 2 advisors have been invited to attend the meeting.
The circular regarding Amman Jirga is likely to be approved formally in the meeting.
Several key points are part of 53-point agenda of the meeting. The approval in connection with changing 25 official vehicles for district sessions judges will also come under consideration in the meeting. Recommendation for increasing tax of toll plazas of Swat Express by 20 percent is also part of agenda. Different resolutions passed in KP assembly will also be put before the cabinet so that practical steps could be initiated in this regard.
Sources said the approval for lifting ban on purchase of VIP vehicles for governor KP is also included in the agenda.
Formal approval for the project of “ Ik kissan Ik Gaye” will also be sought in the meeting.
The approval for release of special funds for affectees of Tirah and North Waziristan is likely to accorded in the meeting. Efforts will be made to accelerate the pace of rehabilitation work in affected areas will be made in this respect.
The matter of provision of bullet proof vehicle to a bench of Peshawar High Court (PHC) is also included in the agenda.
CM KP will issue new directives for gearing up the pace of development projects and for provincial administration.
