Rawalpindi: Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi conducted a tree plantation drive in Shah Najaf Park in Khayaban Sector. Various trees were planted in Shah Najaf Park, including Sikh China, Popular and Ligustrumia and other types of trees. The aim of the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi’s tree plantation drive is to reduce air pollution and make the city green, under which plants are being planted on various parks and green belts on a daily basis. The tree plantation drive will also help in maintaining the ecological balance. In this regard, MDPHA said that the public should actively participate in the tree plantation drive of the Horticulture Agency and play their role in making Rawalpindi city beautiful and pollution-free. Ahmed Hassan Ranjha further said that tree plantation is very important for eliminating pollution and smog, for the beauty of Rawalpindi city All possible resources will be utilized for the timely completion of the ongoing projects of the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi.
