Notification in respect of Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) has become headache for government. Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has completed his consultation with senior members of cabinet on important national matters. Well placed sources told Online PM Shehbaz Sharif has completed his consultation with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Defence minister Khawaja Asif and law minister Nazir Tarar after consultation with Nawaz Sharif in connection situation arising after passage of 27th constitutional amendment and notification about CDF.
Exchange of views took place at length on situation after recent legislation in parliament during this important meeting.
A detailed review of the matters related to internal situation was made.
The participants expressed sorrow over baseless and unfounded reports in connection with differences between civil and military leadership.
The federal ministers informed the PM about legislation made during joint sitting of both the houses of the parliament.
