KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) constitutional bench has sought reply from PMDC and others on the petitions filed by the students against MDCAT. The petitions filed by the students against MDCAT came up for hearing before a 2-member constitutional bench led by justice Adnan Iqbal Chaudhry Friday. Nawaz Dahri advocate counsel for the petitioner took the plea in the court first number was given to students 2024 on merit without any formula. These students have been allotted seat with the students of 2025. Seats have been allotted to over 400 students against merit. The right of the students who have filed petition is being encroached upon due to violation of the merit. This move of PMDC be declared illegal. The court has sought reply from PMDC and others on December 22. 25 students of MD CAT including Bisma have resorted to SHC. PMDC, federal ministry of national health, universities and others have been made respondents.
