Pakistan prioritizes cultural diplomacy in digital era: Tarar

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar Saturday said Pakistan places cultural diplomacy at the forefront of its foreign engagement, stressing that digital media had become central to public outreach, fostering cultural understanding and promoting constructive narratives.

Building on this vision, he reaffirmed Islamabad’s commitment to strengthening digital media cooperation with Tajikistan during a meeting with the country’s Minister of Culture, Ms. Sattoriyon Matlubakhon Amonzoda, who is in Pakistan on a special visit to mark Tajik Cultural Week.

The minister underscored the growing role of online platforms in advancing cultural exchange and constructive narratives, reiterating that cultural diplomacy remains a central priority for Pakistan.
