On the directives of the Deputy Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan, an anti-encroachment operation is underway here Saturday on Chashma Road under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Paharpur, Dr. Hamid.
The operation commenced from Tripoli Adda and will continue in a phased and sustained manner up to Chashma.
The drive aims to remove illegal encroachments to ensure smooth traffic flow, public convenience and improved urban management.
During the operation, the public extended full cooperation, which greatly facilitated the smooth execution of the drive.
Teams of the Tehsil Administration remained present on-site throughout the operation, performing monitoring and clearance duties, while all removed debris was promptly lifted to restore cleanliness and order.
Officials stated that the operation is being carried out without discrimination and strictly in accordance with the law, ensuring equal treatment for all.
The cooperation shown by citizens was termed commendable and reflective of a shared commitment between the administration and the public towards positive social change.
After the completion of the clearance operation, significant improvement is expected in traffic movement and the overall outlook of Chashma Road. The administration has also finalized a plan to enhance the aesthetics of the reclaimed spaces, which will be implemented in the next phase.
