Punjab offers 1,000 laser land levellers on subsidy to farmers

The agriculture department invited applications from farmers/ service providers till January 26 for the provision of 1,000 laser land levellers on subsidy under the Chief Minister Punjab’s programme for the efficient use of water in agriculture.
According to a spokesperson for the Punjab Agriculture department, the laser land levellers would be provided through a transparent balloting process to eligible applicants from all districts of Punjab, excluding Rawalpindi division. Under the scheme, farmers will receive a subsidy of Rs600,000 per laser unit.
Interested farmers were directed to submit complete applications along with required documents by January 26, 2026, to the office of the concerned Deputy Director Agriculture (On-Farm Water Management).
Application forms could be downloaded from the official website of the Agriculture Department Punjab at www.agripunjab.gov.pk, or obtained free of cost from the offices of the Assistant Director or Deputy Director Agriculture (On-Farm Water Management).
