ISLAMABAD
National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has raised power tariff by paisas 28 per unit for one month.
A notification to this effect has been issued by NEPRA. The electricity tariff was increased under the head of monthly fuel adjustment for the month of December.
According to notification the decision will apply to KE and DISCOs consumers.
NEPRA took the decision after hearing the application by Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA).
CPPA had made request for increasing the tariff by paisas 48 per unit. However NEPRA approved to enhance the tariff by paisas 28 per unit.
The decision will be applicable to the electricity bills for the month of February.
