ISLAMABAD: Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid Friday said that World Day of Social Justice serves as a reminder of ensuring equality, inclusion, and protection of human dignity for all segments of society. In her message on the occasion of the World Day of Social Justice, she emphasized that protection of vulnerable and marginalized groups remains the foremost priority of the state. Senator Rubina Khalid stated that a sustainable and equitable society cannot be achieved without social justice, adding that effective social protection systems are essential to eliminating social and economic inequalities. She said the Benazir Income Support Programme has emerged as a practical instrument for promoting social justice in Pakistan by extending financial assistance and social protection to deserving families across the country.
