The newly posted Secretary for Information and Public Relations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Matiullah Khan, was on Friday given a detailed briefing on the organisational structure, functions and ongoing initiatives of the Information and Public Relations Department.
During the briefing, Additional Secretary Information Hazrat Ali informed the secretary about the department’s various wings, responsibilities and overall organisational framework. He also highlighted key projects and initiatives currently being undertaken by the department.
The meeting was attended by Director General Information and Public Relations Muhammad Imran Khan, Press Registrar Ansarullah Khilji, Director Administration Ibni Amin, Station Director Pakhtunkhwa Radio Peshawar Haroon Rashid, Director Creative Wing Dr Danish Babar, Deputy Secretary Anwar Akbar, Deputy Director IT Zar Ali and Planning Officer Hizbullah, along with other officials of the Information and Public Relations Department.
On the occasion, Mr Khan appreciated the overall performance and progress of the department and emphasised the need for coordinated efforts to further improve its functioning.
He said all available resources would be utilised to strengthen the institution and ensure effective dissemination of information to the public.
