Sindh Governor Nihal Hashmi has said he is not receiving salary. “ I am not receiving salary. My wife is doctor and my family members are earning their livelihood from their own sources, he said this while addressing lawyers here. He said Pakistan’s founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a lawyer of the Muslims of sub continent. Maker of 1973 Constitution drafter Zulfikar Ali Bhutto practiced law, and former PM Nawaz Sharif who conducted nuclear test is also a lawyer. Hashmis said he has been coming in these corridors since 40 years and will continue to come in high court in future as well.
There is bond of respect between the lawyers and they will represent lawyers community before Sindh and federal government.
He stressed discipline will have to be maintained because lawyers community is facing dire challenges at present. It is endeavor of government to administer justice to the people as soon as possible. Mini lock down measures are being taken for the sake of austerity.
He held unrest is there in countries beyond Pakistan while certain forces want to create law and order situation in the country.

He added that Israel has been involved in terrorism for half a century, with some groups term it their “Fatherland.”
