Islamabad: Malik Ikhlaq Ahmed, father of Major Malik Abdul Saboor and uncle of Malik Muhammad Hameed (PA to Director Purchase, Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad), has passed away. His funeral prayer was offered in his ancestral village Sardhi, Tehsil Kallar Kahar, District Chakwal, after which he was laid to rest in the ancestral graveyard. A large number of political and social personalities attended the funeral, including MNA Mehwish Sultan Raja, MPA Raja Tariq Afzal Kallas, MPA Malik Shoaib Bharth, Malik Shakir Bashir Awan, Malik Amjad Alvi, Pir Waqar Hussain Karoli, Major Sardar Ali Khan, Sardar Sajjad Khan Kot Chaudhrian, Malik Mohiuddin, Commissioner Islamabad Muzaffar Ahmed Mirza, Honorary Consul of Russia Arsala Khan, Hanan Rashid Khanzada, Malik Hashim, Malik Adnan (CEO Shanghai Corporation), Saad Zafar, Saifullah Sajid, Waleed Hassan, Advocate Zain Qureshi, Owais Ali Khokhar, Rizwan Khokhar, Salman Khan, Malik Ejaz, Malik Fahad Altaf, Malik Shehbaz Kasana, Brigadier Zafar Alam, Hamid Awan, Mazhar Iqbal Awan, and many others. Journalists and a large number of local residents were also present on the occasion.
