RAWALPINDI
Chief Minister (CM) KP Sohail Afridi has announced to hold public meeting in Liaqat Bagh Rawalpindi on April 9.
PTI Rawalpindi general secretary Aqil Khan has filed application in connection with permission of the public meeting.
According to the context of the application PTI is a peace loving and the largest political party of the country. PTI is striving for the supremacy of law and constitution in the country. Holding public meeting in Rawalpindi is legal and constitutional right of the PTI. Permission be granted.
It is pertinent to mention here KP CM Sohail Afridi had announced to hold public meeting in Liaqat Bagh Rawalpindi on April 9 during his press conference in Islamabad. He had said that people from all over Pakistan including KP will be invited in the public meeting. It is one day public meeting and if NOC is not given then we will hold protest meeting where we are stopped.
Sohail Afridi said we have pursued all democratic, constitutional and legal ways but nothing is being done. Neither our cases are being fixed nor we are being allowed to meet PTI founder. Now only way of protest is left with us.
Therefore, we will put full resistance and voice protest within legal parameters.
