A miscellaneous petition has been filed against change in the price of petroleum products in Lahore High Court (LHC).
The miscellaneous petition has been filed by Judicial Activism Panel.
OGRA, Federal government and others have been made respondents in the petition .
The petitioner has taken the plea federal government raised the prices of petroleum products enormously on April 02.
The government reduced the price of petroleum products by only Rs 80 per liter on April 3 which is not in conformity with the global market.
The petitioner prayed the court to issue order to federal government for further reduction in the price of petroleum products besides evolving mechanism for fixation of prices of petrol.
