Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON, and President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Amir Muqam here Tuesday said that Pakistan was not only working to promote peace in the region but is also playing a positive role in the ongoing important diplomatic process between the United States and Iran.
He said that our armed forces and nation possess the full capability to face every challenge, and that under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, the laptop scheme is being implemented across the country without discrimination.
Federal Minister Engr Amir Muqam expressed these views while addressing, as chief guest, a ceremony held at Bacha Khan University Charsadda, where laptops were distributed among students under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme on merit.
Federal Minister Engineer Amir Muqam said that he felt immense pleasure in being among the participants at this prestigious ceremony at Bacha Khan University.
He added that this important event reflects Pakistan’s bright future, as laptops are being distributed among talented students who have earned this recognition through their hard work, ability, and dedication.
“This great initiative reflects the vision of Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, who has taken this revolutionary step of laptops to empower youth, equip them with modern technology, and help them progress in the field of education.”
Under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, he said that laptop scheme is being implemented across the country without discrimination, including all four provinces, the federal capital Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir. Most importantly, this scheme is entirely based on merit benefiting girls and boys students.
Federal Minister Amir Muqam said that these laptops are not just machines but the key to a bright future. They will provide students with new opportunities for research, education, and global connectivity.
He also paid tributes to Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan for successfully leading PM laptops program.
He said under the Chairman PM laptop scheme Rana Mashhood’s tireless efforts, the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme has become a beacon of hope for the youth of Pakistan.
Similarly, the Pakistan Education Endowment Fund, Danish Authority, and other initiatives are also equipping thousands of students with education.
“Today Pakistan is playing an important role at the global level as well. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan is not only striving to promote peace in the region but is also playing a positive role in the ongoing diplomatic process between the United States and Iran, which reflects Pakistan’s growing global importance.
He paid tribute to CDF/COAS Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for his exceptional leadership, stating that he thwarted the enemy’s nefarious designs and gave new strength to the nation.
The success of operation of Iron wall has created a new spirit and courage among the entire nation. This victory proves that our armed forces and nation have the full capability to face every challenge.
The Federal Minister said that this is the time for students to adopt this national spirit in their lives, work hard, acquire knowledge, and bring honour to Pakistan worldwide.
He emphasized that they are the future of the country and will take it to new heights of development and economic prosperity.
Engr Amir Muqam congratulated Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, all those associated with this great programme, and sucesful students.
The students lauded the Prime Minister, Engr Amir Muqam and Rana Mashhood for the landmark program.
