ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s successful diplomacy has resonated in the British Parliament. British MP Muhammad Afzal, addressing the Parliament, said Pakistan is playing a leading role in resolving the conflict between the United States and Iran. He said the entire world is grateful for the sincere efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, endorsing MP Muhammad Afzal’s remarks, expressed gratitude to the Pakistani government for its efforts to promote peace. Pakistan’s pivotal role in regional peace has also been recognized by Former Indian Military Officer Yashpal Mor. According to retired Indian Major General Yashpal Mor, the leadership and acumen of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir have been instrumental in Pakistan’s mediation efforts.
