ISLAMABAD
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar has appreciated the regular and close contact between Pakistan and the European Union during the ongoing regional situation. He expressed these views during a telephone conversation with EU High Representative and Vice President, Kaja Kallas, today. The Deputy Prime Minister shared the developments about the recently held Islamabad Talks. The EU High Representative and Vice President commended Pakistan’s constructive role for facilitating US-Iran direct negotiations in Pakistan.
Both sides emphasized the need for continued dialogue & diplomacy for resolution of the conflict.
The two leaders positively assessed the growing cooperation between Pakistan and EU and agreed to maintain close contact on all issues of mutual interest.
