RAWALPINDI: Cantt police on Tuesday arrested a liquor supplier and recovered 39 bottles of alcohol during an operation. Officials said the police intercepted a suspicious vehicle and recovered the liquor from the possession of the accused. A case has been registered and the suspect will be presented before court with solid evidence. SP Potohar Sardar Babar Mumtaz Khan said strict action was being taken to curb the menace of drugs and illegal substances. In separate operations across the district, police arrested five suspects and recovered drugs and illegal weapons from their possession. According to officials, Chaklala police recovered 1.56kg hashish from one suspect, while City police seized 110 grams of heroin from another. DNA
