ISLAMABAD
Power tariff is likely to be scaled up by paisas 27 per unit. Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) has filed petition for enhancing electricity tariff by paisas 27 per unit all over the country including Karachi.
This increase has been demanded under monthly fuel adjustment for the month of March. In this regard National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) will hear the petition filed by CPPA on April 28.
The petition seeking hike in the price of electricity will be reviewed in the hearing.
