US-Iran talks
ISLAMABAD
A high level consultative meeting was held under Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif on the matter of second phase of US-Iran talks.
The current situation was reviewed in the meeting.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi took the PM into confidence on his meetings with ambassadors of US and Iran.
Resolve was reiterated to ensure occurrence of talks between US and Iran.
It was agreed to continue contacts to ensure participation of Iran in talks.
According to sources foreign minister Ishaq Dar , interior minister Mohsin Naqvi and senior officials attended the meeting.
According to sources the situation arising out of refusal from Iran from participating in talks came under consideration.
