ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has said that helping poor and needy people is our religious and national obligation and those who are participating in this selfless service to humanity are commendable. He expressed these views while talking to Chairperson of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) Dr. Sania Nishter, on Friday at Parliament House. While appreciating BISP’s services, the Speaker has said that BISP is playing important role in improving the living standards of poor and needy people in the country. Like this program, Model Welfare Villages in all provinces of Pakistan will be established to provide state of the art health, education and recreational facilities to the poor and needy people of Pakistan, he added.
