A Fateha Khawani was held at the Parliament House for the late son of Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani, Chief Whip of the Pakistan Peoples Party and Member of the National Assembly.
Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq expressed profound sorrow and grief over the tragic demise and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani and his bereaved family.
Ayaz Sadiq said that the loss of a child is an immense tragedy for any parent, and the death of a young son is an irreparable loss that cannot be adequately expressed in words.
He noted that parents attach countless hopes and dreams to their children, and their untimely separation brings profound pain and anguish.
Ayaz Sadiq further stated that he stands in solidarity with Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani and his family during this difficult time and prayed to Allah Almighty to elevate the ranks of the departed soul and grant patience and strength to the bereaved family.
Federal Ministers, Senators, Members of the National Assembly, members of the Parliamentary Reporters Association (PRA), representatives of civil society, as well as officers and officials of the National Assembly Secretariat attended the Fateha Khawani and offered prayers for the departed soul.
