Eid ul Azha
ISLAMABAD
Government has decided to pay pension and salaries to government employees and pensioners in advance on the eve of Eid ul Azha.
As per media reports, Finance ministry has issued notification for making payment of pay and pension for the month of May in advance. Under this order the pay and pension will be paid to the government employees and pensioners on May 22 due to Eid ul Azha.
According to finance ministry Eid ul Azha is likely to fall on May 27 or 28, 2026.
Payments will be made under federal government Receipts and Payment Rules-2025.
Directives have been issued to Controller General Of Accounts for early payment of pay and pension.
