ISLAMABAD: Director General Hajj Abdul Wahab Soomro Friday confirmed that Hajj services are in full operation, with pilgrims benefiting from air-conditioned accommodations, wheelchair accessibility and round-the-clock digital coordination through WhatsApp to assist and guide pilgrims at every stage of their journey, ensuring better communication, comfort and support throughout the Hajj process. In an exclusive conversation with local media outlet regarding Hajj 2026 arrangements, DG Hajj Abdul Wahab Soomro confirmed that more than 117,000 pilgrims under the government scheme have already reached Saudi Arabia, while the remaining groups are still in transit as the ongoing flight operations continue smoothly. He said that comprehensive facilities have been put in place for pilgrims, including air-conditioned arrangements in Mina, improved accommodation standards and round-the-clock support to ensure maximum comfort and convenience during the pilgrimage.
