MoneyTap, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP)-licensed digital lending platform operated by ZANDA Financial Services (Pvt.) Ltd., has announced its most significant upgrade to date, introducing a refreshed brand identity, a redesigned mobile application, a simplified loan application process, and a new mascot aimed at making digital financial services more approachable. The comprehensive overhaul reflects the company’s renewed commitment to providing faster, simpler and more user-friendly financial solutions to millions of Pakistanis who rely on the platform for their everyday financial needs.
According to the company, the transformation goes beyond a visual makeover and is focused on improving the customer experience. Many users turn to MoneyTap for essential expenses such as utility bills, school fees and medical emergencies, making ease of access and transparency critical components of the new upgrade.
A key feature of the rebranding is a new logo featuring a rising star above forward-moving streaks, symbolizing guidance, progress and opportunity. The design also pays tribute to Pakistan while reflecting the company’s mission of helping people move forward financially. The brand’s signature green color, representing trust and growth, remains unchanged.
At the heart of the update is a rebuilt loan application system designed to reduce steps, shorten waiting times and eliminate unnecessary complexities. The streamlined process is intended to make access to financial assistance quicker and more convenient when users face urgent financial needs. Adding a distinctive touch to the new experience is “Tappu,” a friendly cat mascot dressed in MoneyTap’s signature green. The company says Tappu has been introduced to make financial services feel more welcoming and less intimidating, serving as a helpful and non-judgmental companion throughout the user journey.
Despite the changes, MoneyTap emphasized that its core principles remain intact. The platform continues to operate under its SECP licence and maintains a commitment to responsible lending practices. Markup charges are displayed transparently before users accept a loan, with no hidden fees, ensuring clarity and trust throughout the borrowing process.
The company also highlighted its strong customer base, noting that the app is trusted by millions of Pakistanis and has received more than 200,000 five-star reviews.
Officials said the revamped platform reflects MoneyTap’s vision of combining technology, transparency and customer-centric design to provide accessible financial solutions for Pakistan’s growing digital economy.
The updated MoneyTap application, featuring its new look, simplified loan process and mascot Tappu, is now available on both Google Play and the Apple App Store.
