Islamabad: Inspector General, National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP), Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry visited the Karakoram Highway Sector Office Gilgit. The purpose of the visit was to conduct a comprehensive review of the professional performance of Karakoram Highway Gilgit, field duties, traffic management, and the facilities being provided to commuters. During the visit, the IG Motorway Police issued important directions to the officers and stated that providing the public with safe, peaceful, and comfortable travel facilities is the foremost responsibility of the Motorway Police. He met with officers and personnel, listened to their issues, and discussed professional matters with them. The Inspector General emphasized that officers should continue to perform their official duties with dedication, integrity, discipline, and a public-friendly approach as their top priorities. He also directed the officers to ensure the provision of the best possible facilities to road users, further improve administrative and operational affairs, and enhance overall performance through the effective use of modern technology.
