Information Minister Punjab Azma Bukhari has announced to extend electric bus service to 147 tehsils in Punjab.
As per media reports, she said that Green Electric Buses project has brought about a revolution in transport sector and its demand is on rise tremendously.
Citizens from different cities of Punjab are demanding of Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz to provide electric bus facility in their respective areas.
She held government will soon extend this facility to 147 tehsils in Punjab. She said 1100 electric buses are running in the province and citizens are enjoying a standard, comfortable and inexpensive journey through them.
Punjab cannot be compared with any other province in terms of performance, good governance and merit, she added.
