The District and Sessions Courts Islamabad will hear the case against Suhail Afridi on July 9 in connection with allegations of spreading misleading claims against state institutions and damaging their reputation. Senior Civil Judge Abbas Shah will conduct proceedings in the case, which was registered by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA). The court had earlier issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Suhail Afridi due to his repeated absence from proceedings and had also directed law enforcement authorities to arrest him.
