In his interaction with the media channels, he reiterated that safeguarding places of worship is a national and moral responsibility of the state and warned firmly against any attempt to modify their legal status. He said that people should respect each other’ s religions and work towards strengthening social unity, tolerance, and patience in society, adding mutual respect among all faiths is essential for peaceful coexistence and national harmony.
