ISLAMABAD: A petition has been submitted to the Islamabad High Court (IHC) demanding a thorough investigation into the recent tragic incident at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS). The petitioner has called for the removal of PIMS Executive Director, Dr. Rana Imran Sikandar, from his position. Furthermore, the petition urges the court to order the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to conduct a probe in order to determine those responsible for the incident. The plea also requests the court to direct authorities to seize all relevant records, including CCTV footage from PIMS, as part of the investigation. The federal government, the Ministry of Health, PIMS management, the FIA, and other concerned parties have been named as respondents in the petition.
