Senior Journalists Celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ with Cake-Cutting Ceremony at DG Auqaf Office; Leaders Media Network Delegation Offers Fateha at the Shrine of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh (RA)
LAHORE (PR): A cake-cutting ceremony was held at the office of the Director General Auqaf & Religious Affairs Department, Government of Punjab, Lahore, Hafiz Anees-ur-Rehman, in connection with the blessed occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ. Senior journalists joined the ceremony, after which a delegation of Leaders Media Network and office-bearers of the Central Committee for Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ visited the sacred shrine of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh (RA).
The delegation offered Fateha and prayed for the peace, prosperity and security of Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah.
Speaking on the occasion, Director General Auqaf Punjab Lahore Hafiz Anees-ur-Rehman said that during the blessed month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, Muslims should recite Durood-o-Salam abundantly, follow the Seerah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ and enrich their lives with the love of the Prophet ﷺ.
Chairman Leaders Media Network, Syed Ali Bukhari, said that every action and saying of the Holy Prophet ﷺ demonstrates how humanity can progress by adhering to the principles of love, tolerance and justice.
Founder President Leaders Media Network, Usman Ghani, said that the blessed life, noble character and Seerah of Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ are a guiding light for humanity, whose illumination will continue to serve as a source of guidance for people throughout the world.
Information Secretary Leaders Media Network, Ali Kamran Dhillon, said, “Let us make abundant recitation of Durood-o-Salam during this blessed month, follow the Seerah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ and beautify our lives with the love of the Prophet ﷺ. Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ Mubarak to the entire Muslim Ummah.”
President Education Reporters Association, Adnan Lodhi, said that the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal is a joyous occasion for the entire Muslim Ummah. It renews our faith and brings peace and tranquility to our hearts.
Chief Organizer Central Committee for Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ, M.I. Raza Chaudhry, said, “Let us pledge today to make the Seerah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ our guiding principle and work towards building a society based on equality and respect for humanity.”
Additional General Secretary Leaders Media Network, Ijaz Ahmed Ijaz, said that Allah Almighty has declared the life of the Holy Prophet ﷺ to be the best example for us, and his Seerah provides guidance in every sphere of life.
The dignitaries and participants included Leaders Media Network Chairman Syed Ali Bukhari, Founder President Usman Ghani, Additional General Secretary Ijaz Ahmed Ijaz, Information Secretary Ali Kamran Dhillon, Secretary Islamabad Wing Naeem Ahmed, Secretary Events & Programs Nadeem Shehzad Ali, Cameraman Asif Ali, senior journalist Ehsanullah Batalvi, Dr. Liaquat Sandhu, and others.
Office-bearers of the Central Committee for Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ, including Chief Organizer M.I. Raza Chaudhry, Chairman Moin-ul-Haq Alvi, Central Vice President M. Shoaib Mughal, former Test cricketer Manzoor Elahi, along with senior journalists and social leaders, also attended the ceremony.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Langar of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh (RA) was distributed among the devotees, followed by special prayers for the Muslim Ummah and the peace and prosperity of Pakistan.
