The court has ordered to send journalist Bilal Ghauri to jail on judicial remand following the completion of his physical remand.
Journalist Bilal Ghauri was presented in district and sessions courts on completion of his two days physical remand.
The court ordered to send him to jail on judicial remand.
Judicial magistrate Malik Aman took up the case for hearing.
During hearing of the case NCCIA requested the court to grant physical remand of journalist Bilal Ghauri for further five days.
The investigation officer told the court the forensic of the devices recovered from the accused has to be got done.
On the other side defence counsel Imran Shafiq said all the devices are with them. Presence of the accused is not necessary for forensic.
Imran Shafiq said NCCIA be asked it has done what in two days remand.
The court remarked NCCIA could not tell any solid reason for remand.
The court said no progress was made during two days physical remand earlier.
Later the court ordered to send the accused Bilal Ghauri to jail on judicial remand.
It is pertinent to mention here NCCIA has registered case against Bilal Ghauri under PECA act.
