Director General Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Wasil Khan conducted an early-morning surprise inspection of Hayatabad Sports Complex, Peshawar, to review cleanliness, staff attendance and sports facilities. Action was taken against absent employees.
Director Establishment Nematullah Marwat, Assistant Director Muhammad Ashfaq, Director Operations Jamshed Baloch, Administrator Abid Afridi, Yousaf Afridi and other officials accompanied him during the inspection.
The DG Sports visited various sports venues and reviewed cleanliness, maintenance and available facilities. He directed the concerned officials to improve management, ensure timely staff attendance and maintain proper cleanliness across the complex.
Wasil Khan said that negligence and absence from duty would not be tolerated. He emphasized that sports complexes must provide quality facilities and a suitable environment for athletes and the public.
He directed officials to strengthen the monitoring system and ensure discipline and better management, adding that inspections would continue to improve sports infrastructure and facilities across the province.
