Islamabad electric supply company IESCO Spokes Person has said that IESCO management by following the clear directives of government of Pakistan and ministry of energy power division ensuring power supply continuity to valuable customers in entire IESCO region and no unscheduled load management is being carried out. However due to ongoing annual system maintenance Programme and development works by administration like construction of bridges, underpass, overheads and roads winding approved shut down for limited duration are being taken on relevant feeders and prior intimation to valuable customers through print electronic social media and announcements from mosques is being ensured and advance power shut down schedule has been uploaded on IESCO web site www.iesco.com.pk. When ever in the evening if any gap occurs in Demand and supply of electricity a short duration load management is started and the same is being lifted up on provision of electricity in accordance with demand. Power supply continuity and timely rectification of complaints is being strictly monitored by high-ups.
